I’m really excited about the opportunity,” Cannady said in a recent interview. The Fulbright program, funded by the U.S. State Department, is an international education exchange program designed to increase understanding between the people of the U.S. and the people of other countries. Cannady is one of more than 1,600 U.S. citizens who will travel to other countries for the 2011-12 academic year.
