Coleman man sentenced to prison for sex assault

via Midland Daily News

A 39-year-old Coleman man has been sentenced to prison for sexually assaulting a teenage girl. Robert Dwayne Hund was sentenced Thursday to spend between seven and 15 years in prison for a count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, and 16 months to two years for one count of interfering with electronic communication. Midland County Circuit Court Judge Jonathan E. Lauderbach credited Hund for 105 days, and recommended counseling. Court documents state Hund will be required to register as a sex offender for 25 years. Hund first was charged with additional counts of first-degree criminal sexual assault and attempted first-degree criminal sexual assault. Those charges were dismissed when Hund pleaded guilty to the remaining charges in September.
