Midland City Manager Jon Lynch and Midland City Attorney Jim Branson received positive reviews from the Midland City Council on Monday, but they will have to wait for a future meeting to see if they will receive raises. The council scheduled a closed session for 6 p.m. Sept. 19 to further discuss the reviews and potential compensation actions. Mayor Maureen Donker read a letter signed by all members of the council as part of Lynch's review. She said Lynch's success in meeting Midland City Council goals included delivering a balanced budget that preserved public safety services and collaborating with organizations to maintain high quality of life that's been recognized by nationwide awards.
