Rep. Dave Camp on 'super' committee reaching agreement: Any solution is preferable to automatic cuts

What do you get when you put six powerful Republicans and six powerful Democrats in a room? Hopefully, not a stalemate, but it's not out of the question. In the coming weeks, the twelve members of the so-called "Super Committee" that is charged with reducing our nation's debt by up to $1.5 trillion over a 10-year span, plan to meet and nail down an agreement. It only takes one member to cross the aisle to push through a deal, but if that doesn't happen, automatic cuts to programs like social security, medicare and defense funding will happen.
