Chemics reach volleyball semifinals
The Midland High volleyball team took its first loss of the season, 26-24, 25-13 to host Cadillac in the semifinals of an invitational on Thursday.
The Chemics reached the semis with a 26-24, 25-20 win over Williamston in the quarterfinals after going 3-0 in pool play with a 25-16, 25-21 win over Alma, a 25-8, 25-20 win over Chippewa Hills, and a 25-9, 18-25, 15-7 win over Fife Lake Forest Area.
