MMH CEO denies rumors of financial crises

MidMichigan Health is giving up a stake of about 9 percent of its organization to the University of Michigan Health System as part of a deal announced by the organizations Tuesday.


CEO Richard Reynolds addressed rumors that the organization is facing a financial crisis. "The organization is very financially strong," he said. "There have been many rumors lately that we're going down the tubes and that's not true at all."

In July, Reynolds announced that he would retire in early 2013 after 32 years.
