Gov. Rick Snyder has reappointed Michael Gardner of Midland to the Health Information Technology Commission. Housed within the Michigan Department of Community Health, the 13-member commission facilitates and promotes the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of Michigan’s health care information infrastructure.

Gardner is chief executive officer of The Apothecary Shoppe in Midland, where he oversees pharmacy operations, human resources and customer relations. He will serve a four-year term that expires Aug. 3, 2016.
