Trouble has been identified to a fiber cable cut in Flint Michigan caused by a truck that caught the hanging cable between the cab and bed of the truck. The Fiber was cut and our splicing crew is in route to pull slack cable to re-hang and splice all pairs together. No ETTR at this time, the cable slack pull will be done first and splicing to follow. Estimated time to begin splicing is 4pm EST. This is a massive outage and the crew is rushing to the scene to restore services asap. Further status will be forthcoming as the process continues to repair the broken fiber cable.
