Chemics' volleyball wins Silver Division title

Midland High’s volleyball team went 4-1 and won the Silver Division title at the Trenton Invitational on Saturday, beating Grosse Pointe North 25-18, 25-19 in the title match. The Chemics (23-5) swept Rochester 25-16, 25-19 in the semifinals after losing 25-17, 25-23 to Utica Eisenhower, beating Rochester 25-16, 25-22, and beating New Boston Huron 25-14, 25-17 in pool play.

Midland hosts Saginaw High and Saginaw Arthur Hill on Thursday.
