Success! Over 750 families get food at Dow Diamond

Parents and children lined the sidewalks at Dow Diamond Saturday morning waiting for the opportunity to get their faces painted, play on the playground, visit with vendors and perhaps most importantly, to get some free groceries.

About 300 volunteers who ranged from ages 8 to 80, unloaded trucks, sorted and stacked food, collected carts of groceries and delivered them to waiting vehicles.
