Man sentenced for bath salts-induced stabbing

Bath salts + scissors = bad combo

The Sanford man who stabbed his elderly Midland County victim 27 times with scissors in 2011 was sentenced to between 11-20 years in prison for home invasion and between 5-10 years for assault. Eric Doehring's erratic behavior was the result of using the designer drug known as bath salts.
