Wow! United Way reports pledges of $1.6 million in fundraising kickoff

United Way of Midland County has seen an incredible response to its kick-off event and the inspiration that Chef Jeff Henderson brought to the community, organizers say. The campaign, they say, is off to a strong start with reporting pledges of $1,626,782. This represents 32 percent of the overall campaign goal of $5,050,000.
