Midland was runner-up to Saginaw Heritage for the boys’ meet with 72 points compared to 28 for the Hawks, while Dow High was fifth with a score of 142. Miles Kilbreath finished second for the Chemics in 16:31, while Jake Greer (17:09) was 11th.
The final SVL Jamboree is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 17 at Delta College and counts as 60 percent of the formula for determining the final league standings.
