Meridian volleyball goes 4-1-1 at tourney

Sadie Hall had 44 kills, 12 aces and 29 digs as Meridian went 4-1-1 in the seven-team Northwood volleyball tournament on Saturday. The Mustangs beat Beaverton 26-24, 25-22 and lost to Goodrich 25-16, 25-21 before defeating Hale 25-11, 25-10.

In the fourth match, Meridian avenged an early-season loss to Bullock Creek by beating the Lancers 25-21, 25-20. The Mustangs then split with eventual tourney champion Oxford 15-25, 25-20, and beat Lakeview 25-17, 25-19.
