Meridian volleyball places 3rd at tourney

Meridian finished third at the Beal City volleyball invitational on Saturday. The Mustangs advanced to the Gold Division with pool play wins of 25-10, 23-25, 15-7 over Breckenridge and 25-19, 25-18 over Fowler.

In Gold Division play, Meridian lost to Beal City 25-14, 25-12 and lost to eventual tournament champion Concord 25-10, 22-25, 15-9. Meridian is 15-6-1 and plays today against Farwell and Marion at Farwell.
