The 20 millionth pound food will be distributed this month to a hunger relief organization here in the region. For 18 years, Hidden Harvest has operated on the concept of “don’t waste food and if you have extra, get it to people that can use it.”
This year alone Hidden Harvest will distribute more than 2.2 million pounds of healthy and nutritious food items to more than 170 non-profit agencies throughout the region.
