Allegiant Air to end direct service from MBS International Airport to Orlando-Sanford

Less than a year after Allegiant Air began offering nonstop flights from MBS International Airport to Orlando-Sanford, the carrier announced it would end its service at the airport. The nonstop flights began Nov. 3, and will end Sept. 23, Allegiant said in a release. Customers with reservations beyond that date will be contacted by Allegiant for a full refund. “We are always disappointed to end service in a market,” said Eric Fletcher, Allegiant Travel Co. manager of airports. “We thank MBS International Airport for their partnership and apologize to any travelers who are inconvenienced by this decision.”
