Deer Run completes major renovations

Deer Run has made big changes during the past six months. State Sen. John Moolenaar, R-Midland, recognized major renovations to the Midland adult foster care facility last week in the form of a legislative award. The Midland facility is licensed to treat those who have closed brain and spinal cord injuries. The award was timed to the completion of a six-month project, which brought the facility from 10 beds to 12 beds, but also honored its continuing dedication to the community. The biggest change was a larger therapy room, said Deer Run Administrator Colleen Grant.
