Midland's Creative 360 celebrates art created by seniors with ArtFest55

Carol Speltz recently stopped by Creative 360 for an impromptu event and found herself stepping backing in wonder. “Everyone was drawing together in a circle and there was a bonfire and kids were holding sparklers, and I thought, ‘This is real nice,’” said the arts center’s volunteer executive director. It’s a far cry from last year, when the discovery of financial oversights looked as if the center would close its doors. And while Creative 360 still has a way to go before declaring financial stability, Speltz said, “we’re doing lots of wonderful things again, and with every event comes hope.”
