Last week, Midland's Joe Vieau got a taste of what to expect in college football, had a great time, and in the process helped his team set a few All-Star Game records. Vieau, who recently graduated from Midland High and will join the Michigan Tech football team in August, played center and was a co-captain on the West team in its 59-7 thrashing of the East in the annual Michigan High School Football Coaches Association All-Star Game at Alma College on Saturday. "It was unbelievable," Vieau enthused. "It was the most memorable week of my football career so far. It was an honor to be considered one of (the best senior players in the state), and it was a whole lot of fun."
