Dave Camp Introduces Bill to Stop Year End Tax Hike for Every American


The Democrat-controlled Senate is expected to take up a proposal tomorrow to extend the Bush income tax cuts for up to $250,000 — a limitation deeply unpopular among Republicans who want the cuts renewed across all income levels. Rep. Dave Camp, R-Midland, chairman of the House Ways & Means Committee, introduced a bill Tuesday that would extend current tax rates for a year. "This bill will stop the tax hike facing every American who pays income taxes at the end of the year," Camp said.
